How do we go about booking your Master of Ceremonies services?

This is generally a stress-free process. Once I receive your initial enquiry via the booking form or phone, I confirm my availability for your wedding day. If you’re both happy with my style after watching my videos and would like to proceed with me as your MC you then have the option of a face-to-face meeting or online chat session.

To confirm the booking officially I email you a Booking Confirmation Form. This form also acts as our official contract and a small deposit will need to be made to secure the booking. Please note that I am selective about the events I host, and if I believe I’m not suited to the style, I will politely decline.

What is your style?
I’m a versatile Master of Ceremonies who adapts to the environment, every wedding celebration is unique, and I work each event accordingly. If it’s a 500 guest Indian wedding with loud drums and a large bridal party with big entrances, then I create the hype beforehand, working with the DJ to ensure maximum atmosphere when the action starts.

Alternatively, a smaller more intimate gathering requires a more delicate approach, different voice dynamic in delivery and a lot more eye contact with guests. My delivery behind the Mic is natural, entertaining, captivating and at the same time assertive when I need to be. I believe less is more, focusing on words and complementing tones and pauses to capture a moment without overkill or dragging on. When I speak it’s genuine and I make sure my words hit an emotional chord among the guests.

Although it’s a serious job where professionalism is key, my style is also chilled, fun and easy going. If you’re looking for someone to jump & dance around the stage, we unfortunately won’t be a good fit. You can expect me to bring a level sophistication & eloquence to your big day. If you haven’t already done so, watch my videos which will give you a good idea of my speaking style.

Do you tell jokes or scream on the mic?

This is a common question I get from couples. Over the years of attending weddings most people have seen a variety of MC’s, those with a style they like and others with a style they don’t. I make it clear to all my couples that I’m not the star of the show…you are.

I will throw in humor every so often depending on the vibe of the night, or if the moment warrants it, I’ll create the hype, but no, I don’t go out of my way to poke fun or try to get extra laughs with long winded jokes or deep advice on marriage. I keep my delivery short and sweet while still capturing moments when it counts, creating a fun and happy atmosphere.

What have you learned from being a Master of Ceremonies at so many weddings?
I guess after all these years and having the responsibility of Master of Ceremonies for so many special couples, being a great MC is more than just delivering behind the microphone, no doubt getting people’s attention and creating atmosphere when it counts is super important, but more than that, it’s about being there for the couple on that day.

Reading the flow of a night takes experience and thankfully it’s something that has become second nature to me, so making sure the bride and groom are enjoying themselves in that flow is what I’ve learned. To take charge when things may go wrong and save the situation requires quick thinking, skill, and confidence that I have developed over the years.

What type of events do you emcee?

I am able and open to emcee all types of events, from weddings, private events such as birthday parties right up till corporate events. Drop me a line and we can discuss your needs.
